Exploring Cinematic Worlds with AI

Arrival is a one-minute short film that dives into the process of bringing an idea to life using tools like MidJourney, Kling, and Minimax. I wanted to experiment with how these technologies can shape cinematic storytelling, using each tool in a way that suited the feel of the moment:

• Text-to-Video for an Organic Feel: For shots like the lab inside a spaceship, I leaned on text-to-video to create something raw and exploratory, capturing the organic flow of imagination.

• Image-to-Video for Control and Consistency: When I needed more refined and steady character visuals, I switched to image-to-video, balancing the creative freedom with precise execution.

Arrival is part of my ongoing exploration of how to build cinematic worlds using these new AI tools. It’s about finding that balance between the unpredictable magic of AI and the control needed to shape a vision. This short film is just a step in discovering how AI can transform the way stories are told visually.
