Genesis is a three-minute AI short film that takes a deep dive into the heart of a forest, created entirely using text-to-video techniques. This project was an exploration of textures, mood, and the visual essence of a world built through AI prompts.

 

The process was less about following a traditional filmmaking pipeline and more about approaching AI filmmaking like a documentary—immersive, experimental, and organic. I focused on crafting the foundational prompt that would shape the world, then iteratively tweaking it word by word to refine and expand the visuals. Each change was a discovery, revealing how subtle shifts in language could transform the atmosphere and narrative.

 

Genesis stands as a unique project that blends experimentation with artistry, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in AI filmmaking. It’s a piece I truly loved creating, offering a glimpse into the exciting potential of treating AI as a creative collaborator.
